Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Manager to help develop and implement a consistent global approach to workers’ compensation and injury management for a customer with activities in many countries.  This role will advise the Occupational Health and Safety team during an upcoming global RFP for a workers’ compensation case management supplier and will manage the selected provider following implementation.

The successful candidate will bring deep U.S. workers’ compensation expertise, experience working within a multinational organization, and the ability to standardize programs across countries where practical.  This role will be part of the North America team with significant responsibility for global workers’ compensation operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a consistent global strategy and operating approach for workers’ compensation programs.
  • Advise and support the Occupational Health and Safety team during a global RFP for a workers’ compensation case management supplier.
  • Support supplier requirements, evaluation, selection, procurement, and implementation activities.
  • Manage the selected supplier, including performance, service quality, relationships, and ongoing program improvements.
  • Establish policies, governance structures, and operational processes that promote global consistency while accommodating country-specific requirements.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims, case management, and return-to-work practices.
  • Analyze claims data, program costs, and performance trends to identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
  • Advise senior leaders on workers’ compensation, disability management, and employee recovery programs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external claims administrators, case management providers, insurers, and brokers.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of workers’ compensation program management experience.
  • Significant experience managing workers’ compensation claims, case management vendors, and return-to-work programs.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. workers’ compensation programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working within a multinational organization or supporting global workers’ compensation programs.
  • Experience developing policies, governance structures, and operating frameworks for injury management programs.
  • Experience leading vendor selection, procurement support, implementation, and supplier performance management.
  • Strong supplier, contract, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Ability to evaluate program performance through claims data, metrics, trend analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Excellent program management, process improvement, and executive-level communication skills.
  • International workers’ compensation experience is preferred.  Significant U.S. workers’ compensation experience within a multinational organization may also be considered.
  • Experience supporting a high-technology organization is preferred but not required.

Join a collaborative global team where practical problem-solving and partnership are valued as highly as technical excellence.
