We are currently hiring a Workers Compensation Consultant to join our team remotely in Ontario, Canada. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims across multiple provinces.
  • File new claims within required provincial deadlines and maintain compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Review and assess entitlement decisions; challenge or appeal determinations when appropriate to protect employer interests.
  • Collaborate with injured employees, employers, and case managers to develop safe and effective return-to-work and modified duty programs.
  • Monitor case progress and maintain detailed documentation to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide strategic advice to employers on premium reduction strategies and claims cost control.
  • Build strong relationships with workers’ compensation boards, medical providers, and internal partners to facilitate fair and efficient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience managing or adjudicating workers’ compensation claims (multi-province experience preferred).
  • Post-secondary education in Paralegal studies, Insurance, Human Resources, or Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of WSIB, WCB, and CNESST processes and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.


The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,604.76 annually.

Skills Required

  • Holds an Ontario Paralegal license in good standing
  • Post-secondary education in Paralegal studies, Insurance, Human Resources, or Occupational Health & Safety
