This position is 100% remote.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Workday Solutions Architect. The objective of this program is to transition to HCM system to support learning management operations, leverage advanced analytics, streamline competency management, and provide a user-centric approach to facilitate personalized learning experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: 

  • Evaluate client requirements, use cases, and other inputs to create a solution roadmap to meet client needs
  • Apply expert knowledge of Workday product capabilities, including plug-ins, to advise on product selections and integrations
  • Applies expertise in declarative-type platform implementations, including minimizing customization and custom code
  • Apply workflow, process, and data integration expertise to design an end-to-end solution  
  • Collaborate with National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Human Resource Management (HRM) to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements 
  • Review solutions and recommend process integration, reporting, and data integration improvements
  • Contribute to and review user stories and other requirements documentation
  • Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story 
  • Ensure documentation of the steps for testing
  • Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow in a new HCM solution 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in implementation of Workday design, development and solutions architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in building data integrations between Workday and external systems along with data migrations/conversions
  • Proficiency in architecture frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience managing or leading large-scale IT modernization projects, ideally in the HR domain
  • Background in HR technology or IT consulting implementations and upgrades
  • Experience in managing organizational change and guiding teams through the transition to new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Solutioning experience at the enterprise level
  • Project planning and scheduling for Enterprise Systems experience
  • Enterprise level HR IT system experience

Security Clearance Requirements: 

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. 
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 

The projected compensation range for this position is $141,100-$234,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
