This Talent Acquisition - Lead Software Engineer will contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the platform supporting Wells Fargo's Talent Acquisition processes. The successful candidate will lead Wells Fargo through a transformation journey, modernizing the Talent Acquisition portfolio through best-of-breed solutions and AI capabilities. Leveraging business insights and stakeholder relationships, the selected candidate will help position our Talent Acquisition function for the future and make meaningful contributions towards enhancing the overall candidate, recruiter and hiring manager experience.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives and deliverables within both internal and vendor managed environments in support of enterprise-wide Human Resources Solutions
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Solicit requirements, engage in process engineering, design, code, test, debug and document for projects and programs associated with Human Resources technology domains
  • Act as primary point of contact for problem management
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams
  • Lead projects, act as an escalation point and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of systems analysis experience, capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 4+ years leading or developing in Workday or similar Software as a Service Human Capital Management systems (SaaS HCM)
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday Recruiting
  • 2+ year of experience with Agile
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday Studio
  • Experience with both domestic and international talent acquisition processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as policies, control standards, risk management concepts, and information security
  • Ability to manage effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Jira
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work additional hours, as needed
  • Ability to work on-site at approved location 3 days/week

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$131,000.00 - $206,000.00
