Workday Integrations Specialist, Group Finance.

Adyen is looking for a Workday Integrations Specialist to join our Finance Systems team in Amsterdam. This team is at the heart of Group Finance, responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the financial technology stack that powers our global operations. We manage key applications like Workday Financials, Coupa, HighRadius, and various in-house tools, and your primary focus will be on ensuring they all work together seamlessly.

This is a high-impact technical role with a unique opportunity to develop. You'll be joining a team of experts, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and proactive in finding opportunities to create value.


What you’ll do

  • Build & Maintain Integrations: Design, build, and monitor robust integrations between our core finance applications (i.e. Workday, Coupa, Pigment) and other internal/external systems.
  • Solve Business Problems: Use your technical aptitude to solve complex challenges, automating manual processes and removing operational bottlenecks for our finance teams.
  • Drive Improvements: Act as a self-starter; actively look for opportunities to improve our systems landscape, then propose and implement solutions that drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate: Partner closely with our functional specialists and finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop Your Skills: Deepen your expertise in integrations (including but not limited to  Workday Studio) while also learning and working with other applications in our tech stack.

Who you are

  • You have at least 4 years experience as an integration specialist. 
  • You are a highly motivated and proactive problem-solver with a "get-it-done" attitude and a genuine passion for technology.
  • You have experience building or maintaining system integrations within Workday Studio, and a strong desire to become an expert in this area.
  • You possess a strong technical aptitude and are excited to learn new technologies, systems, and financial concepts.
  • You are a self-starter: you don't wait for tasks to be assigned but actively seek out areas to create value and take ownership.
  • You can communicate complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, finance and accounting concepts is a plus.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with, and learning from, domain experts.
