Workday Integration Engineer
Salary: From £60,000 DOE plus bonus & benefits
Contract type: 6 months fixed term contract
Shift pattern: Full-time – 35 hours per week
Location : Hybrid / Manchester office based

Role Overview
The Workday Integration Engineer role will work closely with the various business and technical teams, principally within the People function, as well as partners and vendors, you will be defining stakeholder requirements, using these to drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions and developing and implementing these solutions.

The job holder will be the technical authority in their domain. This could be application or technology specific
Give application or technology specific guidance to business analysts, architects and designers to achieve the best overall solutions
Working with stakeholders to capture requirements, design solutions and deliver these through the entirety of the development lifecycle
Impact assess and validate and review technical solutions, designs, proof of concept to ensure end to end solutions are fit for purpose
Contribute towards and influence strategic decisions relating to software architecture
Provide input to Infrastructure Design teams regarding overall solution design as required
Takes ownership for resolving all IT related problems within their domain, which directly or indirectly impact on the operational services or development
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
Solid 7 + plus years professional experience in Workday technology within live or production environments.
Proven track record in complex development in Workday technology for a large multi-national organisation, preferably in the HR or Finance function
Extensive knowledge and experience in support and development of Workday integrations using various Workday delivered tools, e.g. Workday Orchestration, Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, API
Extensive knowledge and experience of Workday Prism development
Extensive knowledge and experience of Workday technical configuration
Extensive knowledge and experience of all Workday HR modules
Workday Pro certification or workday partner certifications is preferred
Logical approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
Experience of working across a matrix function, delivering effectively to timescales
Excellent team player and good communication skills – able to gain cooperation of team and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
Ability to influence a wide stakeholder group beyond immediate team
