Summary:

In this role, you will design, build, and support Workday integrations and custom solutions that connect Workday with internal and third-party systems. You will partner closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable integrations that enable core business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, BIRT, and RaaS reports.
• Gather and document integration requirements, design robust solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ensure integration solutions align with Workday best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing integrations.
• Review test cases, participate in quality assurance efforts, and support user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to documentation of technical designs, system flows, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with peers across engineering, security, QA, and support teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 2 or more years of relevant experience designing, developing, and deploying Workday integrations.
• Must have direct experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Business intelligence and reporting tools (BIRT), and Report-as-a-service (RaaS).
• Demonstrated ability to support integrations—including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Understanding of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Proven experience developing integrations for Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
• Familiarity with Workday’s integration framework and best practices for optimizing data flows between Workday and third-party systems.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations for: Accounting Systems, including fraud mitigation capabilities, Credit card processing platforms, and Tax software (e.g., Avalara) preferred.
• Understanding data security, compliance, and audit requirements within cloud-based integration environments preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.
