Redaptive is looking at hiring of a Workday Information System Consultant to oversee global implementation, administration and optimization of Workday platform for Redaptive. This role involves configuring and customizing Workday modules to align with organizational processes, ensuring data security and integrity, and providing ongoing support to end-users including development of HR data ownership/workflows and employee and manager self-service processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders from HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to understand business requirements, implement system enhancements, and contribute to the overall success of Workday within the organization
Job Responsibilities
- System Configuration and Customization:
- Configure and customize Workday modules to align with organizational processes and requirements.
- Implement and maintain security roles, business processes, and data fields within the Workday platform.
- Oversee the integration of Workday with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
- Develop testing plans and facilitate testing process with users and functional process owners.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to design, test, and implement integrations.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into HR and business data, integrate with external reporting tools.
- Develop standard reports and provide user access for HR use, people managers and other employees. Develop thoughtful data visuals that provide strategic insight for function leaders.
- After initial implementation and stabilization periods, develop long-term roadmap with quarterly deliverables to communicate to HR management and org leadership.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance on Workday functionality.
- Develop training content in partnership with process owners for new users and ongoing training sessions to communicate system changes.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve issues or errors within the Workday system promptly.
- Collaborate with technical support, leverage Workday Community, or vendor resources when needed.
- Develop HRIS ticketing system to field inquiries and requests from end-users. Develop an SLA approach to ensure high-quality customer service delivery.
- System Upgrades, Maintenance and Continuous improvement:
- Stay informed about Workday updates, releases, and new features.
- Monitor system upgrades, ensuring continued functionality within all Workday modules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Workday system.
- Stay current with industry best practices and recommend enhancements to maximize system effectiveness.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for knowledge transfer and audit purposes.
- Data Management and Governance:
- Perform regular audits and data validation checks to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity and quality across the global Workday platform and interfaces through regular data validation, cleansing, and maintenance activities.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules and related functionalities including core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Expenses, Talent Management, LMS, Recruiting.
- Experience working within the Workday Community and with 3rd party implementation specialists.
- Ability to facilitate Workday integration configurations.
- Knowledge of Workday’s architecture and capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in Workday administration is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences – preferably overlap with US Morning hours.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in information technology.
- 3+ years experience with HCMs/Payroll
- Specific experience as a Workday implementator, analyst/specialist or consultant.
- Knowledge or human resources processes and payroll.
- Experience of end-to-end implementation in at least one organization
- Knowledge of India & United States Labor Laws would be a plus.
