Practice Overview:
IT@Ankura provides all IT enterprise applications, infrastructure, and helpdesk support services across the company in a secure, reliable, and cost-effective manner. Examples of enterprise applications include Salesforce, Workday, Enterprise Data Warehouse. IT is also responsible for laptops, email, the IT service desk, network connectivity, fileservers, phones, servers, and common applications (e.g. Smartsheet’s, ShareFile). IT's goal is to enable Ankura's consultants to effectively deliver client engagements and innovate while operating the business efficiently with the appropriate cost, risk and service level trade-offs.
Role Overview:
The Workday Human Resources Functional Lead will be accountable for the assessment, implementation, business partnership, and ongoing production support for Workday’s HCM module. The lead will be responsible for understand Ankura’s business needs and recommending Workday best practices. The role will also include architectural oversight, project execution, and 24 x 7 (where applicable) support and triage.
This role is remote located in the United States.
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day system and operations issues, system troubleshooting, manage severity assignments and set priorities for resolution

Develop and maintain documentation and train stakeholders on user procedures, process maps, guidelines, and policies as needed. Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of Workday configuration decisions

System Administration: Perform Workday administrative functions including business process and tenant configuration. Work with various internal HR partners to further build out other functions in the system. Monitor and troubleshoot integrations and BPs involving HR data

Report Writer & Owner: Create, maintain, and process standard and custom ad-hoc reports and dashboards, to meet business needs

Security Administrator: Maintain the roles (for all business functional areas; not just HR) related to security groups; this includes working with functional areas to assign roles to new employees, as well as re-assign roles for terminated employees

Organization Partner: Open/edit Cost Centers and Locations, working in partnership with Ankura’s Finance team. Administer reorganizations of the Supervisory Organization structure as needed.

Workday Release Management: Oversee and communicate new Workday releases as needed and ensure expected system operations across upgrades

Acquisition Support: Lead integration and data conversion efforts for acquisitions as needed. Customize and edit Enterprise Interface Builders for use by HR team

Perform regular HR data audits within Workday to ensure data integrity. Ensure data privacy compliance and standards
Qualifications:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Bachelor's Degree preferred

5+ years of Workday Administration and/or configuration experience required

Advanced experience of Workday configuration in three or more of the following areas: HCM, Talent, Learning, Benefits, Recruiting, and Compensation/Advanced Compensation

Experience with HR business processes and security and how to best leverage Workday

Project experience with gathering requirements, architecting system configuration, leading testing, and implementation

Ability to work through complex issues and challenges and present business stakeholders with clear options for solutioning
