The Human Resources Technology Solutions Department is currently looking for a Workday HRIS specialist to take part in development projects and upgrades to HR technology solutions. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and will serve as a content, delivery quality and solution maintenance specialist, with a focus on data security in your decision-making. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in initiatives to maintain the data security posture in the delivery of innovative solutions and features that support HR and Payroll processes. You’ll be part of squads or projects that contribute to delivering initiatives, integrating solutions, and ensuring application security, automation and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with internal partners and external suppliers to identify solutions and meet the business needs of Desjardins employers. More specifically, you will be required to:
Serve as a key contact between HR, IT, external providers and other interested parties for all aspects of HR and Payroll solutions.
Carry out the automated integration of data transfers (connector or files) to other internal or external systems.
Develop and lead knowledge transfers for core business users.
Stay on top of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology and HRIS applications.
Ensure the day-to-day operation of the HR and Payroll information system, including managing environments, supplier upgrades and IT infrastructure upgrades.
Oversee the automation of application security, maintenance and data integrity.
Ensure the modules implemented in the system run properly and maintain a cross-sector view of continuous improvement to the modules, in collaboration with the supplier and the IT team.
Maintain the HR system’s compliance with data security and confidentiality requirements and frameworks.
Contribute to projects aimed at implementing, optimizing and improving the HR and Payroll systems in collaboration with other interested parties.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources management, organizational information systems, information technology or a related field
At least four years of relevant experience in HRIS management, either within a large organization or with a systems integrator
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Proficiency in Workday and other HRIS platforms, including application security and report development, API, connectors
Proficiency in HR and Payroll processes and best practices
