Job Summary:
Eisai is seeking an experienced Workday HRIS Manager to lead the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of our Workday HCM platform. This role serves as a Workday subject matter expert, ensuring system integrity, driving process improvements, and fostering strong collaboration across HR, IT, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
In addition, the prospective candidate must have robust security administration experience and report‑writing capabilities to effectively manage permissions, maintain data governance, and deliver meaningful insights to the organization.
Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
Workday System Leadership & Support
- Lead configuration and support of Workday HCM, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, security, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert across key Workday modules: HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time Tracking, Absence, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll and Time Management.
- Manage upgrades, release testing, enhancements, and other HR projects and ancillary systems.
- Build and analyze advanced reports (PRISM, BIRT, EIBs, Matrix, Advanced, etc.).
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure integrity of HR processes, data accuracy, and system security.
- Partner with HR, IT, vendors, and senior leaders to understand needs and deliver scalable solutions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HRIS processes and elevate the user experience.
Leadership & Team Development
- Offer coaching, feedback, and technical guidance to indirect and cross‑functional team members to support successful Workday delivery and collaboration.
- Support training and upskilling on Workday and HR technology best practices.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with vendors to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies for documentation and contract oversight.
Qualifications: What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of Workday HCM experience, with strong functional configuration expertise across multiple modules.
- Advanced Workday reporting skills (PRISM, BIRT, advanced reports).
- Excellent understanding of HR processes and Workday security and business process configuration.
- Strong communication skills; ability to influence cross‑functionally.
- Experience mentoring or supporting HRIS team members.
- Proven success leading system enhancements and solving complex issues.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:
The annual base salary range for the Workday HRIS Manager is from :$104,600-$137,200Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
