Workday HCM Specialist

• Responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for the Workday HCM suite functional areas, including configuration, business processes and related security.
• Maintain and continue to develop HCM-related reporting, including custom reports as required by the business.
• Gather requirements for improvements and new functionalities through collaboration with cross-functional business teams and develop the solution to meet the business needs.
• Evaluate existing functionalities and ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business.
• Monitor existing functionalities and troubleshoot and correct any errors or failures on a timely basis to confirm minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with the Workday Integration Developer as the Workday HCM subject matter expert to support any related integrations.
• Create and maintain process documents as needed.
• Serve as the Workday HCM Lead for Workday projects, including optimization, implementation of new features and integrations of future acquisitions.
• Support testing for semi-annual Workday releases.
• Participate in the Workday Community and other resources, including training and user groups, to establish awareness of current trends, enhancements, and system bugs.
• Work closely with IT Service Management and the Workday Product Team to secure optimal uptime, performance, and usage of the product.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Extensive experience with the Workday platform, including application configuration, business processes and related reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of the following Workday functional areas: Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Absence and Benefits.
• Experience with Workday Time Tracking is a plus.
• Knowledge of Workday security structure as it relates to the above noted functional areas.
• Outstanding organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive projects, gather requirements, provide development estimates, and meet expected delivery timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to work effectively with non-technical functional team members and business owners.
• Ability to adapt to multiple changing business priorities with calm and ease.
• Motivated and have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with other high-performing team members.
