Position Summary
Workday Functional Analyst I is a entry-level functional role for someone with foundational Workday knowledge (1 year of experience), focused on supporting basic business process, report, and configuration tasks with significant guidance.Responsibilities:
- Learn and support Business Process fundamentals within assigned Workday module(s)
- Assist in building and maintaining basic custom reports using Report Writer
- Create and modify simple calculated fields
- Participate in configuration reviews, testing, and support ticket resolution
- Document configuration, changes, and test steps for audit and continuity
- Work with more senior analysts to understand functional business requirements
- Gain familiarity with functional modules such as HCM, Compensation, or Benefits
Requirements:
- Approximately 1 year of Workday or similar ERP functional experience
- Foundational knowledge of Business Processes, Report Writer, and basic configuration
- Associates degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $88,691.20 - $127,649.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
