As a workday developer at Best Buy Canada, you’ll help support and enhance our Workday platform, contributing to work that directly impacts our business and internal users. You’ll be part of a collaborative Technology team that values learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do as a workday developer:

  • Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday platform

  • Assist with building, testing, debugging, and deploying Workday solutions in an Agile environment

  • Help support day-to-day Workday functionality and system enhancements

  • Share learnings and best practices while continuously building your Workday knowledge

  • Work with the Workday Support team to help resolve issues and improve system performance

What we're looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience with Workday development preferably with exposure to Workday Studio

  • Workday implementation experience for modules such as HCM, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Time Tracking and Learning

  • 1-2 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot

  • Collaborative team player who embraces continuous learning, welcomes feedback, and willingly takes on tasks to support sprint goals

Annualized Compensation Range

$60,000.00 - $73,000.00

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
