As a workday developer at Best Buy Canada, you’ll help support and enhance our Workday platform, contributing to work that directly impacts our business and internal users. You’ll be part of a collaborative Technology team that values learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do as a workday developer:
Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday platform
Assist with building, testing, debugging, and deploying Workday solutions in an Agile environment
Help support day-to-day Workday functionality and system enhancements
Share learnings and best practices while continuously building your Workday knowledge
Work with the Workday Support team to help resolve issues and improve system performance
What we're looking for:
1-2 years of experience with Workday development preferably with exposure to Workday Studio
Workday implementation experience for modules such as HCM, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Time Tracking and Learning
1-2 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
Collaborative team player who embraces continuous learning, welcomes feedback, and willingly takes on tasks to support sprint goals
