Position Overview

The People Data & Systems team is responsible for back-office operations and services that support global people programs and are delivered at scale worldwide. This group partners closely with People & Places teams and partners to provide high scale operational reporting, data management, technical and functional support.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing Mergers and Acquisition data in Workday

• Maintain and optimize Workday data for Autodesk employees globally

• Troubleshoots and resolves issues in partnership with the People Data & Systems team as necessary, providing exceptional customer service

• Provides security role administration support in Workday proactively and upon request

• Provides support for Workday by researching, identifying, and resolving complex issues, unexpected results, and process flaws in close coordination with People Services teams

• Continuously expands functional, technical, and industry knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, training, webinars, etc.

• Performs complex data uploads into Workday utilizing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), oversees and audits EIB loads done by other data analysts in People Data & Systems team as needed

• Assists the PPL COEs and other People Experience teams with the process flows, data analysis, configuration and EIB loads associated with annual and off cycle events such as performance evaluations, merit increases, bonus payments, and job structure enhancements

• Monitors and analyzes Workday performance and make recommendations to deliver greater operational efficiency and effectiveness

• Leads planned and ad hoc Workday release efforts related to Workday data, including testing and preparation for scheduled Workday releases

• Actively participates in user acceptance testing and documentation

• Assists end-users and internal teams on Workday related issues

• Deliver on-time and accurately on requests within the committed timelines (SLA)

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

• Overall HR operations or shared service experience

• 5+ years of HR Operations experience related to Workday

• Proficient in data administration and has a strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Security, Benefits, Recruiting, Org Management, Job Profiles, Time Tracking and Absence

• Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Exceptional analytical skills and capabilities

• Ability to critically think and have an analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues

• Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team

• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems and processes through instruction and self-training

• Customer service oriented with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations and deliver an excellent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and other modules

• Experience with Agile Methodologies is a plus

• High-level management and leadership skills

• Ability to explain complex, technical information in a nontechnical, easy-to-understand way

• Critical thinking and excellent trouble-shooting skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Teamwork and motivational skills

• Organizational and multitasking skills
