Workday Configuration Specialist (Multi-Module)

Hybrid: up to 4 days WFH per week

Manchester, Staines, Bristol, Leeds, London, Brighton

Permanent

£52.2k - £66k DOE and location + 10% bonus + fantastic benefits

37.5 hours per week

As a Workday  Configuration Specialist you will be responsible for spear heading Workday’s setup for newly acquired businesses. While owning the development of Workday to facilitate this you will also partner with the other Consultants in the team. Consistently working closely with a Project Consultant and feeding into their development on integrations downstream from Workday to our other People related platforms.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Responsible for delivering the configuration for newly acquired businesses or those transitioning on to Workday
  • Supporting with the continuous improvement of multiple Workday functional areas
  • Proactively assess existing processes to drive improvement from end user, regulatory, financial and efficiency perspectives
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and create solutions
  • Design and build of technical configuration within the talent and compensation elements of Workday
  • Create supporting collateral and run training sessions to ensure that changes are easily understandable and successfully deployed

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • A thorough understanding of Workday (showing experience of least 2 functional areas plus Core HCM)
  • Demonstrate confidence in requirements gathering, solution creation and Workday technical configuration
  • Hold strong consulting skills e.g. presenting, leading workshops and conducting demonstrations
  • Have excellent stakeholder focus
  • Have a keen interest and affinity with technology and how technology can enable People and HR operations
  • Show first class self-management and prioritisation skills and be able to break down complex activities, plan and deliver
