The Role

Work Shift:

Position Overview:

This position is hybrid and requires coming on site for 3 days a weekMinimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Workday Configuration and administration, including HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking and Benefits Module.
  • Other Credentials/Certification: Workday Pro Certification(s) Preferred
  • Knowledge & Skills: Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment.
  • Usual Work Day: 8 Hours

Essential Functions

  • Configure and customize Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Benefits) to meet business needs, including creating and maintaining calculated fields, business processes, and security roles.,
  • Provide day-to-day Workday support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving configuration challenges.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Develop test plans and conduct testing for Workday changes, including patches, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
  • Coordinate with end-users and stakeholders during testing phases to gather feedback and ensure successful deployment.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and updates for future reference.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users as needed.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT departments to gather requirements, provide solutions, and improve Workday functionality.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and functional teams to translate business needs into effective configurations.
  • Stay updated on Workday best practices, new features, and industry trends to identify and implement improvements in the system.
  • Recommend and lead initiatives for optimization and enhancement of Workday functionality.
