Job Description
Responsible for configuring new functionality and enhancements within the Workday Compensation module. Support functional business partners in analysis, assist with technical requirements, and identify configuration options.
Responsibilities:
- Configure Workday HCM for enhancements and fixes, focusing on Compensation and Advanced Compensation.
- Liaise with HR and business partners to understand needs, document technical requirements, and discuss configuration options.
- Develop calculated fields, conditional routing, and business processes to support requirements. Ensure accuracy and minimise impacts on other business areas.
- Manage configuration updates during Workday releases and upgrades. Coordinate with Workday support for new functionality and defect fixes.
- Document impacts of changes and communicate them to HR stakeholders. Support UAT activities and conduct root cause analysis for issues.
- Identify system improvement opportunities and propose actionable recommendations.
- Serve as an escalation point (Tier 3) in HR Service Delivery, maintaining change logs and design documentation.
Skills:
- Workday HCM configuration (Compensation and Advanced Compensation focus). Workday Reporting is a plus. Advanced skills in MS Teams, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), SmartSheet, and data tools.
- Experience in service delivery, customer experience enhancement, process optimisation, and new tech solutions.
- Results-oriented, independent, collaborative, and adaptable. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Effective communicator with both technical and business audiences. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Workday configuration experience, with a general understanding of all Workday HCM modules.
