Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•             Serve as subject matter expert on Workday Financial Accounting Functional Area including but not limited to Ledger Accounts, Cost Centres, Allocations, Taxes, Account Posting Rules and Consolidations.

•             Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.

•             Maintain master data values in Workday.

•             Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.

•             Support ongoing process improvement and automation effort.

•             Assess impact on Workday Financial Accounting Functional area based on new releases and recommend changes.

•             Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Procurement Workday.

•             Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

•             Apply technical knowledge to determine solutions and solve complex problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•             The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Workday Financials experience and a demonstrated understanding of Workday configurations.

•             Understanding of financial applications (i.e., General Ledger, Consolidation and Business Intelligence systems).

•             The ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

•             Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with both technical and end users.

•             Ability to own and drive efforts to standardize, optimize, and simplify processes and technical solutions.

•             Previous functional experience, including finance operations, accounting, financial reporting and financial data management is highly desired.

•             Strong analytical and Excel skills

•             Strong problem-solving skills.

•             Ability to work independently and mentoring junior staff members.

•             Positive by nature and a great team player.
