You will:
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, tested, and performance-optimized code;
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application, plugin, theme, and server-side issues efficiently;
- Ensure high performance, security, scalability, and availability of WordPress-based solutions, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS lifecycle;
- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into responsive, accessible, and high-quality WordPress products, themes, plugins, and features;
- Collaborate closely with designers, software developers, and project managers to deliver visually appealing, functional, and reliable products on time;
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices and coding standards;
- Participate in technical planning and decision-making, including architecture choices, task estimation, and risk identification, to support successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 4+ years of experience in WordPress development;
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery;
- Experience in creating responsive design websites;
- Experience with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.;
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers;
- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages;
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)'
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git);
- Experience with WordPress website speed, SEO optimizations;
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development;
- Proficiency in MySQL or similar databases;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
- Upper-intermediate level of English;
- Native level of Lithuanian would be a plus.
