We invite a compassionate and dynamic individual to join us as a Residential Aide for the unit. This role requires collaboration with the assigned unit as a team member to assist counseling staff in delivering a range of alcohol- and drug-related services by performing various duties.
Please note that all applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as a comprehensive background check and a TB test.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring patient activities and day-to-day operations of the assigned withdrawal management unit and facility. Efficiently multitask and delegate work to others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assigns tasks to employees.
Calls for replacements in the event of an employee call-in or no-show.
Assist WM Supervisor with creating weekly employee schedules.
Addresses and resolves patients’ inquiries and complaints.
Cleans and organizes work area as needed.
Orders supplies and products. Restocking supplies.
Report losses, employee behavioral issues, patient complaints, and other significant issues to upper-level management.
Adheres to and enforces company policies and guidelines.
Assists in interviewing applicants for open positions.
Oversees employee training sessions.
Assist WM Supervisor with chart audits and quality assurance.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Addiction Technician Certification (CAT) is required.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience working in withdrawal management, providing direct patient
care, assessment, triage, crisis intervention, and group counseling.
Other:
Solid communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
CPR and first-aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by the agency).
Must be able to take vital signs and recognize medical problems.
Valid driver's license and insurability.
