Provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, oversee medication administration and withdrawal monitoring, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, support quality improvement, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. Promote trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and recovery-oriented care.

Provide nursing care for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, manage medications, educate patients and families, document care in electronic records, follow infection-control and controlled substance protocols, maintain supplies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet therapeutic goals.

Provide direct patient care in a withdrawal management unit: conduct intake screens and assessments, take vital signs, monitor patients, assist with medication monitoring and referrals, deliver individual and group sessions, complete documentation, and support day-to-day unit operations during assigned shifts.

Performs urinalysis collection/monitoring and curfew checks for recovery residence participants. Conducts random weekly UAs, documents results, maintains participant dignity and confidentiality, keeps work area safe, and reports hazards. Supports recovery-minded environment and basic program operations.

Coordinate and monitor day-to-day operations of a withdrawal management unit, assign tasks, assist scheduling, handle patient inquiries and complaints, order/restock supplies, support training, assist with chart audits/quality assurance, and report issues to management while providing direct patient care and crisis intervention support.

Provide direct patient care in a withdrawal management unit: assess eligibility, take vitals, monitor patients, assist with medication and referrals, conduct individual and group sessions, complete paperwork, and deliver case management during assigned shifts.

Provide intensive case management and outreach for LEAD participants with substance use, mental health, and housing needs. Conduct intakes/assessments, develop individualized plans, coordinate community and law enforcement partners, document in databases, deliver trainings, perform street outreach, and participate in meetings and public events. May require nights, weekends, on-call duties.
