We are looking for a Wireless QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and WiFi 7 (802.11be) tesIng. The ideal candidate should have strong experIse in wireless networking, test planning, automaIon, and performance validaIon. The candidate should possess hands-on programming/automaIon skills and experience in wireless performance, capacity, and scalability tesIng using VeriWave or equivalent traffic generaIon tools.
Key Responsibilies- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for WiFi 6 and WiFi 7
- Perform funcIonal, regression, interoperability, performance, scalability, stress, and stability tesIng of enterprise wireless
- Validate wireless features such as WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X authenIcaIon, RADIUS, VLANs, QoS, Mesh, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, MulI-Link OperaIon (MLO), and seamless
- Execute wireless performance, throughput, capacity, roaming, and scalability tesIng using VeriWave (or equivalent tools such as Spirent/Ixia).
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automaIon frameworks and test scripts using Python or similar programming
- Analyze packet captures using Wireshark and debug wireless protocol and networking
- Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and Support teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve product
- ParIcipate in CI/CD-based test automaIon and conInuously improve test coverage and
- 3–5 years of experience in Wireless QA/TesIng.
- Strong understanding of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and WiFi 7 (802.11be) technologies and IEEE 11 standards.
- Good knowledge of enterprise wireless networking, including WPA2/WPA3, 1X, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, and QoS.
- Hands-on experience in automa,on and programming using Python (preferred) or other scripIng
- Experience in wireless performance and scalability tes,ng using VeriWave, including throughput, latency, roaming, and capacity validaIon.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Experience with Wireshark for packet capture and protocol
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as
- Strong analyIcal, debugging, problem-solving, and communicaIon
- Experience with enterprise wireless Access Points and Wireless
- Familiarity with automaIon frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Knowledge of REST APIs and network
- Exposure to traffic generators such as Spirent TestCenter, Ixia, or OctoScope is an added
- Knowledge of Firewall and Network Security concepts is
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, InformaIon Science, TelecommunicaIons, or a related engineering
