Wire Clearing Operations Processing Analyst (B10) (Mon-Fri, 10am-7pm) (Hybrid)

The Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2 (Wire Clearing Operations Processing Analyst) is an entry level role. This position specifically is for a Client Operations Specialist- supporting Global Payment Operations. The Client Operations Specialist receives and investigates various inquiries related to wire processing. This role will include handling several types of escalations and inquires received via email, as they relate to end to end payment flow for funds transfer wire processing. This role will also support the reconfirmation process of a specific subset of wires processed via Citibank, NY.

Responsibilities

• Customer service for internal service teams and business partners across the globe

• Adept at working in high pressure scenarios and delivering consistent results

• Develop practical knowledge of industry practices and standards

• Perform according to compliance standards and departmental procedures to minimize losses

• Assist with operational processes and process improvements

• Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed

• Ensure transactions or processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls

• Perform all required tasks within established procedures and controls to minimize losses

• This role requires working some US holidays to cover international responsibilities specific to our team and functions

Skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and exercise exceptional time management skills

• Flexibility and initiative in supporting multiple functions within the space

• Ability to work independently while also maintaining awareness of larger team needs

• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams within the department

• Knowledge of Citi’s infrastructure, payment flows and SWIFT is advantageous

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred

• Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Exhibits excellent attention to detail and problem solving abilities

• *Schedule 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
