On Wing Support Korea was launched in 2000 at Gimpo Airport. Recognizing the growing need for support, we expanded the center in 2013. It was relocated to the Gimpo Aerospace Industrial Complex with enhanced quick-turn service capabilities for large engines. One of seven global centers, it serves as a crucial hub for quick-turn and real-time services in Asia Pacific to keep our customers flying.
Role Overview:
Lead all site operations, including shop repair, field service, and on-wing maintenance activities, with full accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
Balance capacity and resources across fixed-base and field operations to meet customer commitments while maximizing operational efficiency.
Own daily operational execution, ensuring rapid response to AOG events, line maintenance requirements, and changing customer priorities without disrupting shop performance.
Build strong customer relationships by serving as the primary operational leader for delivery performance, issue resolution, and service excellence.
Lead production planning and daily management to optimize engine flow, technician utilization, and material readiness across both operating environments.
Ensure compliance with industry and customer regulatory requirements while driving a culture of zero defects and operational excellence.
Develop high-performing teams through leadership, coaching, talent development, and succession planning across shop and field organizations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve turnaround time, reduce operating cost, increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Support to proactively manage risks and execute recovery plans.
Manage site financial performance, including labor productivity, inventory, operating expenses, and overall business profitability.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 13-15 years of experience in shop operations environments, with 3-5 years of experience in aerospace MRO preferred.
Demonstrated a strong track record of delivering KPI results for the customer base.
Strong understanding of safety performance and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement through lean thinking and disciplined problem solving.
Experience leading on-time customer delivery, AOG response, shop turnaround time, and field service responsiveness.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational reliability, productivity, cost, and inventory performance.
Proven leadership in employee engagement, capability development, and team effectiveness.
