Join the Mizuho team as a Windows Engineer!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows Engineer with a strong background in M365, Active Directory and Messaging. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Exchange, Windows, Active Directory, Teams, and other Microsoft core technologies, plus a working knowledge of Proofpoint or similar products. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, specifically focusing on M365 and Active Directory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on variety of projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to M365, Active Directory, Exchange, Proofpoint, and Teams.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in project design sessions, products and vendor selections, capacity planning
- Conduct performance monitoring, tuning, and reporting to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Windows and other infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Be able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience (Financial industry preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Windows Engineer with a focus on M365 and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange and Teams and other messaging platforms
- Experience with Proofpoint or similar products
- Extensive experience with ITIL based IT Service Management procedures (ServiceNow preferred platform)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with system upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Expertise with VMware Horizon, Citrix XenApp or AVD is a plus
The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$155k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
