The Infrastructure as Code Engineer will be instrumental in building infrastructure deployment in CDK AWS & Azure environment. This is a 6 month assignment that requires the candidate to have experience supporting large scale application migrations from on-prem data center(s) into AWS & Azure public cloud. Responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code Automation: • Design and implement Azure and AWS Cloud Infrastructure using Terraform. • Utilize CI/CD methodologies to ensure infrastructure changes are implemented via pipelines with rollback capabilities. • Evaluate and implement self-service capabilities to expose catalogs for users to request infrastructure changes via IaC and CI/CD. • Translate on-prem infrastructure (e.g., IIS web servers and MSSQL backend) into cloud-native technologies on Azure and AWS, and configure deployment pipelines to meet application needs. Monitoring and Documentation: • Configure metrics and monitoring for both Azure and AWS resources. • Create infrastructure design documentation, troubleshooting guides, and training materials for the operations team. Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms. Skills: • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with: o Azure: SQL Server Managed Instance, Azure SQL, App Service, Front Door, AKS, API Gateway, Blob Storage, Azure VM. o AWS: EC2, RDS (SQL Server), S3, API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, CloudFront. • Proficient with Terraform, PowerShell, and Ansible. • Familiar with networking concepts and cloud security best practices. • Strong understanding of Azure Well-Architected Framework and AWS Well-Architected Framework. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Azure and AWS role-based certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). • Experience with SQL Server installation on Azure VM and AWS EC2. • Experience building secure APIs and UI applications using cloud-native technologies on both platforms. • Experience with VMware vRealize Automation (VRA) is an added advantage
