Responsible for PLM, PTC Windchill, ThingWorx, 3D viewers, CAD, and CATIA files. solutions for advance support and expertise covering the Engineering, Manufacturing and Simulation aspects of the Windchill solutions
Qualification & Experience
Engineering graduate (BS/BTech/MS/MTech) with 2-5 years of experience in PTC Windchill Administration, Configuration, Parameterisation & customisation Installation & Deployments
Expert knowledge of Windchill architecture and data models,
Strong knowledge of different modules of PTC Windchill
Prior experience with PTC Windchill system administration & migrating to cloud [AWS/GCP]
Ability to collaborate with a diversity of customer's teams to address important issues and to resolve them
Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, adaption and learning of the business processes speak of the customer especially around PDM and Configuration management processes
Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle, Agile/scrum experience in software development (plus)
Service-now experience & ITSM concepts would be a plus
Responsibilities
Perform advance support (L3) with strong skills around Engineering, Manufacturing and simulation modules of Windchill solutions.
Prepare and demonstrate the prototype and Proof of Concept based out of platform capabilities.
Manage the Service Requests (SR) and Enhancement Requests (ER) with product editor PTC.
Analyse the User requests concerning the enhancements and propose the solutions.
Provide and collaborate day-to-day support in operation by collaborating with L2 teams, solving incidents and requests raised by the user community.
Prepare and take proactive measures for preventing the recurring issues in operations.
Responsible for application services monitoring and performance of the platforms.
Provide root cause analysis and debugging of issues and anomalies to ensure uptime as defined in service level agreements.
Provide support during the deployment and/or production stage.
Prepare and maintain documentation describing PTC Windchill procedures for performing support and maintaining the first-time-right approach is a must.
