Your opportunity

As the WHS Business Partner, you will support the delivery of proactive Work Health and Safety initiatives across Anglicare Sydney. Working closely with the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing, managers and stakeholders, you will help embed effective WHS systems, promote consultation, and coordinate injury management and workers’ compensation processes.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, balancing operational and advisory work, and contributing to a strong and practical safety culture across a diverse organisation.

With integrity and care, you will:

  • Maintain WHS systems, data and records, including Workers’ Compensation information, ensuring accuracy and accessibility

  • Coordinate WHS consultation processes, including Health & Safety Committees and Health & Safety Representatives

  • Support sites to resolve WHS issues and conduct WHS incident investigations as required

  • Assist with hazard identification and risk assessment across designated areas

  • Coordinate injury management and workers’ compensation case management activities

  • Support the delivery of WHS training and safety communications

  • Contribute to WHS and HR support visits across Anglicare sites

  • Promote a respectful, inclusive and culturally safe workplace

What you’ll bring

You are a collaborative and practical WHS professional who values consultation, consistency and continuous improvement. You enjoy working with managers and teams to embed safety in everyday work and support positive outcomes for injured workers.

You will also bring:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)

  • Experience coordinating WHS management systems and consultation processes

  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and best practice

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable)

  • SafeWork NSW accredited Workplace Consultation (desirable)

  • Valid NSW Driver Licence
