This individual will bridge communication and support between the Relationship Bankers and Operations for Core Lending North America. The teammate will provide leadership and guidance to junior teammates and help advance the overall strategic vision of the Wholesale Support Team. He/She will assist with the review of Credit Agreements as it relates to operational functionality and liaise with operations to ensure proper deal execution.

As a Wholesale Support Core Lending Team Leader, you will be successful if you can effectively lead the Core Lending team to communicate well with both Relationship Bankers and Operations as the team supports transaction closings and deal execution.
The Wholesale Corporate Client Support Team (WST) Team Lead plays a crucial role in guiding the WST function, providing invaluable support to the Wholesale Corporate Client Deal Team throughout the pre-closing and closing stages of transactions. Beyond the transactional phases, the WST Team Lead takes on the responsibility of overseeing all necessary actions to uphold the transaction portfolio. This individual serves as a catalyst for positive change, upholding the wholesale strategy, fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders, and offering guidance and support to team members. It is essential for the Lead to proactively identify areas for improvement within our processes and offer solutions to enhance the overall efficiency of our team. Cultivating a culture of teamwork and delivering exceptional client service are key priorities for the WST Team Lead.
Job ResponsibilitiesLeading and developing the junior members of the team in the deal closing, amendment, and refinancing process as well as preparing them for future desired roles within the organization
Ensuring all WST processes and procedures are followed in accordance with policy
Documenting process changes in the WST procedures thus maintaining a representation of control over our processes
Coordinating the internal approval process and external documentation process (including doc review) for new transactions, renewals, and amendments
Maintaining a direct dialogue with clients and bank participants regarding transaction deals, operational issues and upcoming amendments, including arranging and conducting business due diligence-reviews
Identifying changes in the requirements for transactions, based on developments, in the regulatory environment and internal capital/liquidity models
Creating a client service environment, building relationships, arranging annual visits to ensure Rabobank is providing premier customer service support to our client franchise
Liaise and build strong relationships with members of Corporate Clients and Support teams (Operations (incl. Client Onboarding), Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance) to ensure an efficient, effective and sustainable support model for our franchise
Identify areas of deficiency within our process and bring solutions to better the overall process for our team
Build a culture of team work and excellent client service
Work with the business change leader on projects, risks, reporting and procedures
Strong managerial skills and be able to manage in a hybrid environment

Your Promise to Us:To be considered for the Core Lending Team Leader role, you must have:
Bachelor's Degree - Preferably in Finance
7+ years’ experience
Prior management/leadership experience
Process documentation experience preferred
Syndicated Loan and Commercial Loan Agreement Experience
Ability to travel regionally up to 15%

Salary Expectations:New York, NY Target Hiring Range: $140,200.00 - $230,000.00
Atlanta, GA Target Hiring Range: $135,200.00 - $225,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.
