As a Collateral Services Analyst within our team, your work ensures the smooth functioning of our lending services, contributing to the overall loan lifecycle. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your skills in conflict management and critical thinking to resolve potential issues and deliver quality results.

Job responsibilities:
- Process and maintain loan collateral documentation by adhering to established guidelines and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Update and reconcile deal details across applicable systems; ensure information is entered timely and accurately.
- Assist with attestations and updates to procedures and supporting documents pertaining to team functions.
- Review closed loan packages for WLS-supported business to confirm required documentation is present and aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Participate in staff and partner meetings.
- Identify documentation exceptions and communicate with internal and external partners; track items through resolution.
- Understand and adhere to Bank policies and procedures. Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in projects and working groups as required.
- Provide continuous improvement ideas to the overall Upload/DR/Doc Collection review process.
- Customer service oriented – must be comfortable communicating with internal/external clients on the phone and via email; possess a desire to own and resolve issues.
- Communicate any inadequacies or issues to Manager, supporting proactive management and resolution.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Advanced level of English.
- Bachelors degree.
- Experience in conflict management, resolution of issues and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
- Critical thinking skills, enhancing the ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for efficient loan processing and management.
- Sense of urgency; seek out and adapt to best practices and improvement

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge in commercial lending loan documentation, enabling understanding and processing of agreements is preferred, but not mandatory.
- 1-2 years of prior operations experience in a banking or financial services industry is preferred.
- Stakeholder management and emotional intelligence, fostering strong relationships and effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain resilience in challenging situations, ensuring consistent performance and productivity.
