This opportunity provides an intern with the chance to witness and experience "first-hand" the operational procedures of a television station.
After being exposed to the various departments in the station, the intern will be in the News department for more in-depth training. These areas include:
- News
- Engineering
- Creative Services
- Sales
- Programming
As part of the Internship Program, selected Interns may be asked to participate in the NYSBA's social media program for Interns.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Current student, at least 17 years of age.
- Resident of New York State and/or attending a school in New York State.
- First time entrant into the program.
- Interested in a possible career in the broadcasting industry.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The Company will make reasonable physical accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform the essential job functions.
