WGL - Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives
Responsible for leading and driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement strategic initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This role will also require direct project management of high-profile non-core initiatives that do not have an existing business owner.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Identify strategic initiatives that align with the organization's strategic direction.
• Evaluate and prioritize initiatives that best support the organization's objectives and available resources.
• Lead and manage strategic initiative programs from inception to completion.
• Project Management:
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and team members.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
• Bachelor's Degree business administration, project management, or a related field preferred
• Master's Degree preferred
• 7+ Years of program management experience with demonstrated success leading teams. required
• PMP required
• Proven experience in strategic planning, program management, or consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Knowledge of gas utility industry trends and best practices preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $116,000 to $159,500 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
