WGL - Manager, Communications
If you’re energized by shaping narratives that matter, helping educate stakeholders and the community, and building understanding of the true value of the energy that powers their daily lives - this role is built for you.
Washington Gas and SEMCO Energy are building a modern, high-impact communications team. Every day brings something new - cross-functional strategy work, media engagement, issues management, event support, policy conversations, and executive storytelling. You’ll be at the center of one of the most important conversations in the region: the future of energy, the benefits of natural gas, and the policies shaping it.
If you have strong media relationships, a passion for energy policy or regulated industry communications, and the drive to build something meaningful, you’ll thrive here.

Draft speeches, executive communications, and talking points for the CEO and senior leadership
Act as a key liaison across departments to ensure communications is embedded in decision-making
