We’re seeking a driven and experienced Sales Account Executive to lead our outbound and inbound sales efforts targeting foodservice distributors. You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to demoing, negotiating, and closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about solving real problems for a legacy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full sales cycle for foodservice distributor accounts.
- Identify and prospect new leads through outbound efforts, referrals, and industry events.
- Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to distributor workflows and pain points.
- Collaborate with marketing and SDRs to optimize lead generation and qualification.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across operations, sales, and IT.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company goals.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular pipeline updates.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into supply chain, logistics, or foodservice verticals.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a full-cycle sales role.
- Strong understanding of the foodservice distribution landscape is a major plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
