Role Overview:

Work with an experienced team of Software Engineers and DevOps experts on smaller tasks in the area of Skyhigh Security's threat and data protection solution (Service Security Edge).

About you:

• Studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related subjects of which programming is an integral part.
• Studying at a university or university of applied sciences in Germany.  
• Can work regularly several times a week at our location in Paderborn.
• Have programming skills, preferably in C++ and Python. 
• Solution-oriented.
• Enthusiastic about new technologies. 
• Fluent in written and spoken English. 
• Can explain well and communicate your ideas well using visual aids. 

Of benefit would be skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Know the common Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, SSH, IPSec 
• Know what web proxy services are.  
• Have knowledge of web applications technologies such as HTML 5, CCS 
• Familiar with containerization, preferably Docker and know orchestration systems such as Ansible and Kubernetes.
• Have experience with at least one of the common cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) 
• Have experience in Linux, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins and TeamCity
