Job Responsibilities:

Du möchtest neben deinem Studium praktische Erfahrung in numerischen Berechnungen mit der Finite Elemente Methode sammeln, und bei interessanten Fahrzeugprojekten für internationale Kunden mitarbeiten? 

In dieser Rolle unterstützt du den Fachbereich Strukturmechanik im gesamten Prozess, von der Erstellung der FE-Modelle, über die Definition der Lasten und Randbedingungen bis zur Durchführung der Analyse auf einem Hochleistungs-Linux-Cluster im Haus. 

Dabei arbeitest du mit Experten in der Abteilung zusammen und führst unter deren Anleitung die Berechnungen durch und erstellst auch die Dokumentation. 

  

Deine Aufgaben 

  • Übernahme der Geometriedaten aus dem Konstruktionsbereich 

  • Erstellung der FE-Modelle mit ANSA oder ANSYS 

  • Durchführung der Berechnung mit NASTRAN, ABAQUS oder ANSYS 

  • Bewertung der Betriebsfestigkeit mit FEMFAT 

  • Auswertung der Ergebnisse und Ableitung von Optimierungsmaßnahmen 

  • Durchführung von Variantenrechnungen 

  • Erstellung der Dokumentation mit PowerPoint 

  

Das bringst du mit 

  • Laufendes technisches Studium mit Inhalten aus Mechanik und numerischen Simulationsmethoden (insbesondere die Finite Elemente Methode) 

  • Hohes Interesse an komplexen, numerischen Simulationen 

  • Erste Erfahrungen mit einer Finite Elemente Analyse Software 

  • Lernbereitschaft unter Anleitung von Experten der Abteilung Strukturmechanik 

  • Analytische Denkweise und strukturiere Arbeitsweise  

  • Genaue und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise 

  • Sozialkompetenz in der Zusammenarbeit

Weitere Informationen  

Der Einsatz ist ab sofort für 8-20 Stunden/Woche bei uns in St. Valentin geplant, wobei die Arbeitstage flexibel vereinbart werden können. Die Zusammenarbeit beruht auf Basis „freier Dienstnehmer_in“. Für diese Position beträgt der Stundensatz mind. € 18,00. Dieser kann je nach Erfahrung und Wissen erhöht werden. Darüber hinaus bietet Magna Powertrain eine flexible Arbeitszeiteinteilung sowie eine Reihe von Sozialleistungen und Benefits.

Skills Required

  • Ongoing technical studies with mechanics and numerical simulation content
  • Interest in complex numerical simulations (Finite Element Method)
  • First experience with Finite Element Analysis software
  • Ability to create FE models (ANSA or ANSYS)
  • Ability to run analyses with NASTRAN, ABAQUS or ANSYS
  • Experience or willingness to evaluate durability with FEMFAT
