Lab WEO+1 employees will be required to work two 12 hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift on the weekday. The weekend begins Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and extends through Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. Lab WEO+1 employees must maintain competencies for areas chosen for work. The initial competencies must be completed within the 90 days to be eligible for continued employment to include BLS, and any other certifications required in the specific clinical areas. (Paid call time will be at the prescribed base rate, which is defined as the standard, non-Lab WEO base hourly rate for MT/MLTs, including appropriate experience pay.)
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
Associate in Science degree in Medical Laboratory science (MLT) or Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MT).
ASCP certification as a medical technician or eligible preferred.
Current BLS certification
Experience:
Must have a minimum of one year of experience as an MT/MLT in the respective clinical service in which they will be working.
