Wellpoint Federal (WF) Account Management Executive
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Wellpoint Federal (WF) is a proud member of Elevance Health's family of brands. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other federal agencies to transform federal health programs.
The WF Account Management Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business within the federal health care market.
How you will make an impact:
- Supports designated client and partner relationships while collaborating with profit and loss (P&L), marketing, and business development shared services.
- Develops and executes account strategies and call plans.
- Builds customer and partner relationships throughout the industry.
- Supports the development and maintenance of an opportunity pipeline.
- Assists with prioritizing opportunities and contributing to solution development in advance of request for proposal release.
- Participates in teaming discussions and supports the capture and proposal processes.
- Contributes to market analysis, including competitor assessments during pre-capture phases of the business development lifecycle.
- Travel may be required.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or related experience with federal agencies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
This position is part of our Wellpoint Federal- Health and Human Services division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:
- HHS, specifically CMS, or any other related health care experience is preferred.
