Wellness and Resiliency Manager

 

TaskUs is looking for a Wellness and Resiliency Manager to lead and promote our “Frontline First” approach to ensure our employees are productive, resilient, and enjoy coming to work. A successful candidate for this role will be a seasoned people manager in a corporate setting with a strong operational background, who is passionate about and well-versed in employee wellbeing. TaskUs believes that maintaining happy and healthy employees is essential in what we do. We’re looking for people who are passionate and have the desire to lead our wellness teams as they execute coaching interventions to bolster employee resilience, help them reach goals and/or overcome obstacles.  

 

Job Summary:

The Wellness Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing employee wellness operations at scale. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to align wellness initiatives with organizational goals. This position requires  critical business acuity, ability to handle complex stakeholder relationships, strong competency to manage internal and vendor employees, interpret data, manage budgets, and demonstrate measurable ROI from strategies that support overall business performance.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Execute at scale TaskUs’s holistic wellness programs tailored to the needs of a BPO workforce, specifically for workflows with egregious, highly stressful, or disturbing content.

  • Partner with HR, Operations, and other stakeholder teams to integrate wellness into core employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle. 

  • Organize/Oversee wellness-related events, and webinars focused on preventive care and overall well-being.

  • Oversee end-to-end Wellness and Resiliency function and service delivery, managing the operations and performance of a team of life coaches and vendor clinicians

  • Ensure 24/7 coverage (when applicable) of the site and that coaches and clinicians are adherent to the requirements for each workflow. 

  • Conduct weekly meetings with individual coaches and the team to review goals and expectations, caseload management, group activities planned, outreach programming, challenges, and wins.

  • Evaluate and review emergency/crisis plans prepared by the Coaches and ensure proper endorsement/referral to mental health professionals

  • Provide continuous professional development opportunities for coaches through internal and external training (when available/appropriate)

  • Gather data to report to the Director of Research and Data Analytics for Resiliency and other key stakeholders. Use data analytics to track trends, measure success, and refine wellness approaches in collaboration with the Wellness Research Division. 

  • Present wellness program information to clients, and site leadership meetings. Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership that link wellness efforts to organizational performance.

  • Align wellness strategies with business KPIs (e.g., attrition, absenteeism, productivity, employee satisfaction, burnout).

  • Conduct recurring cost-benefit analysis of wellness initiatives and provide ROI reports to leadership.

  • Manage the site wellness budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximizing program value.

  • Evaluate vendor partnerships and negotiate wellness-related services that are cost-effective and scalable for a large workforce.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either fields related to Business Administration, Operations, or fields related to Psychology, Social Work, Public Health

  • 3+ years of experience in people management

  • 3+ years of experience in a business setting, preferably in a BPO setting

  • Bi-Lingual: Spanish/English, fluency in written and spoken English 

  • Proven ability to scale operations, optimize workflows, and implement automation tools

  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills

  • Proficient in using business intelligence and data tools to extract and analyze data

  • Demonstrated high level of discretion and confidentiality 

  • Passion and strong interest in psychological health and wellness

Preferred:

  • Minimum 3 years experience managing wellness operations at scale in a BPO setting.

  • Work experience in a global company
