Marketing Manager – Well+

Salford Quays

Hybrid (WFH up to 3 days per week)

Permanent

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

£50,500 - £60,000 + 10% Management Bonus Scheme + fantastic benefits

This is an exciting new role, created to drive and build our new digital healthcare subscription product, Well+ to become a mass market product. Working with the Head of Consumer Marketing, this individual will live and breathe the new product and most importantly the target audience. The individual will need to be driven, resilient, up for a challenge and bursting with ideas. Experience of working in a new business marketing role would be preferable, as well as a robust understanding of paid media across all GTM channels. Experience of launching a new product to market, and app/lifestyle marketing experience would also be desirable.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Creating, developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan to support Well+ business growth and profitability of our direct and Intermediated Consumer Well+ customer base.
  • Creating, developing and implementing a marketing plan to drive our ambition of growth for Well+.
  • Using our marketing campaigns to differentiate and set Bupa apart from our competition to deliver long term sustainable advantage in the in the health and wellbeing industry.
  • Developing a Marketing Exec to deliver industry recognised marketing excellence.
  • Understanding and developing our customer segmentation, and managing the audience targeting through media to avoid cannibalisation.
  • Being the voice of the Well+ customer within Bupa, and working closely with digital development teams to create and deliver a backlog to deliver ongoing improvements to the Well+ customer journey.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Substantial experience in a marketing and communications role
  • Experience of marketing strategy development and implementation across the full marketing mix within a complex organisation. From brand awareness, preference and conversion with strong ability across all areas.
  • Experience of people management and leading a high performing team.
  • Experience of developing integrated, audience-centric campaigns.
  • Experience of commissioning and working with agencies.
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of complex communications plans.
  • Ability to lead and deliver multiple high-profile projects at pace without support.
  • Ability to effectively oversee delivery work under tight deadlines, whilst simultaneously managing strategic projects independently.
  • Strong organisational skills, project management and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven experience of building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
