The CUA Well-Being Specialist works with the Intervention Team providing supportive services to the Case Management Team ensuring that children in care are receiving timely medical, dental and therapeutic care as needed an identified via the DHS practice guidelines and the specific need of the each child individually as their specific well-being providers prescribe.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least two years experience involving children, youth, and families.
- Knowledge of child and family service systems and community resources is preferred or experience working in the health care field.
- Valid, timely Child Abuse, Criminal History, and FBI clearances that meet all regulatory requirements.
- Good oral and written communications skills in English.
