Your day-to-day responsibilities
Weight Control discipline is at the heart of projects and intervenes in various fields of energy (floating wind, offshore, modular…). It allows a global vision of the projects (lasting several months).
Interfacing with all engineering activities and disciplines on the project, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising weight control studies. You will work on critical aspects of these projects such as transport, lifting, installation or in operation, during different phases of the project. You could impact weight control department by offering innovations and sharing your experience.
Yours mains missions will be to:
- Calculate and analyze weight and center of gravity on projects in compiling data from each discipline,
- Calculate carbon footprint of engineering part of projects in execution.
- Establish weight control report,
- Administrate the database for weight and center of gravity,
- Administrate the database for carbon footprint emission factors,
- Produce weight control specification relevant to disciplines, in line with regulation and client requirements,
- Anticipate weight and center of gravity evolution and propose remedial actions in collaboration with disciplines (process, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, structure…),
Maintain quality procedure for weight control and watch of the right appliance, in ensuring an historical follow up.
Your profile
Engineer from generalist training, you acquired similar practice of 1/2 years and have practice on conception offshore or onshore modularization. You are mobile, rigorous, curious, autonomous, proactive and have a real sense of teamwork. You speak well french and english.

Skills Required
- Generalist engineering degree
- 1-2 years relevant experience in weight control or related engineering
- Experience with offshore or onshore modularization design/conception
- Ability to calculate and analyze weight and center of gravity across disciplines
- Experience calculating carbon footprint for engineering project scope
- Experience administering weight/center-of-gravity and carbon emissions-factor databases
- Produce weight-control specifications and reports in line with regulations and client requirements
- Mobility, rigor, autonomy, proactivity, curiosity, and teamwork
- Proficiency in French and English (spoken)
