Position Summary
Analyzes client shipments needs to accurately classify class and weight of freight. Reviews invoice changes and resolves discrepancies to maximize revenue.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to close on targeted customers and freight opportunities.
- Analyzes and determines applicable National Motor Freight Classifications for freight-related activity.
- Tracks and analyzes billing and rating processes to determine if a change in revenue is applicable.
- Designs and implements pricing programs that adapt to class and weight changes.
- Monitors and resolves disputes related to weight and class discrepancies.
- Complies with organizational policies and procedures on handling items with class, packaging, and weight discrepancies.
- Maintains departmental standards for scans reviewed and reclass issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of billing or rating experience.
- Working knowledge of LTL pricing and rating.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation application systems.
Pay Rate: $21.75 - $25.10 per hour, based on experience
