Job Description:
Would you like to grow your skills in a challenging and rewarding career with a growing recycling organization? We are seeking an Admin/Weighmaster for our Las Vegas plant. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and operations‑focused professional to support plant administration, material movement, and trucking operations.
This role plays a critical part in daily plant operations—serving as the central hub for weighing, coordination, reporting, and operational analysis.
Your Impact in This Role Weighing & Yard
- Weigh inbound and outbound materials and accurately enter weight tickets
- Monitor daily yard movements, material flow, and scale activity
- Schedule trucks for deliveries and pickups and direct unloading activity
- Communicate service updates with suppliers, customers, and drivers
- Ensure compliance with inbound quality inspection procedures
Administrative & HR Support
- Answer phones professionally and provide front‑office coverage
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Office Manager
What You Bring to the Table
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in logistics, trucking, plant operations, or operational analysis
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Business Central preferred)
Preferred
- Weights and Measures experience
- Working knowledge of ENWIS, ADP, and Citrix
- Trucking or transportation industry experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Glass processing or industrial manufacturing experience
- Bilingual Spanish- a must
