This is a weekend shift position, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as 12 hour days weekend mornings 3am to 3pm. This shift receives a 10% differential and is paid 40 hours for 36 worked.

This 4th shift (weekend mornings 3am to 3pm) team member will work directly with operators to provide on the manufacturing floor support and training for wire bonding operators. This process engineering team member will coordinate with the various functions to help support front line issues while driving continuous improvement activity under the guidance of process engineers while still performing direct labor on production builds. This position will have appropriate mentorship from weekend based process engineers to help establish confidence, leadership and ownership in the individual to help support long-term job and career growth.
This team member will support our test cell in the F-35 microwave factory.
This position will include the following duties:
- Support manufacturing with all aspects of the test processes of electronic warfare hardware and their lower level assemblies.
- Provide test failure debug, resolution, and appropriate direction to operations personnel to perform necessary rework.
- Generate rework direction in the Paperless Manufacturing Execution System (MES) based on debug findings.
- Interface with Engineering and other supporting groups to drive defect resolution to root cause.
- Support test equipment maintenance, and improvement, including bench top manual test equipment, software automated test equipment, and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment.
- Generate and implement improvements in test design, processes, and methodologies to reduce cost, improve capacity, and increase throughput.
- Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation associated with the design and build of digital and RF electronic warfare products.
- Support test equipment validation and movement as required to support factory needs.
- Provide training / support to manufacturing personnel.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 2 years work experience in RF testing.
- Experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Good planning, organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working independently and leading small teams through problem resolution.
- Experience with electrical debugging of RF assemblies and associated hardware.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience as a test or product support engineer.
- Experience with electrical debugging of RF assemblies and associated hardware (2 years minimum).
- Experience with setup, operation and maintenance of RF and digital test equipment (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of circuit cards and components and basic electrical systems.
- Lean certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
- Active Secret clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
