Job Description:

The Website Specialist (Marketing) is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's website to enhance user experience, drive traffic, and support marketing initiatives. This role involves maintaining the website's content, design, and functionality, ensuring it aligns with the company's brand and marketing goals. The Website Specialist collaborates with various teams to implement digital strategies that boost engagement, lead generation, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Website Management:

    1. Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with marketing campaigns.

    2. Oversee the website’s design and functionality, ensuring it is user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for various devices.

  2. Content Optimization:

    1. Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic search rankings.

    2. Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality, engaging content that aligns with SEO best practices.

    3. Ensure all website content is optimized for keywords, metadata, and internal linking.

  3. Technical SEO:

    1. Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and fix issues such as broken links, slow page load times, and mobile usability problems.

  4. Project Management:

    1. Coordinate website projects, including redesigns, updates, and new feature implementations.

    2. Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

  5. Compliance and Security:

    1. Ensure the website complies with legal requirements, including data protection and accessibility standards.

    2. Monitor website security, implementing measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.




Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Website Specialist, Web Developer, or similar role with a focus on marketing.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

  • Experience with SEO and familiarity with SEO tools and techniques.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).


Technical Requirements:

  • A dual-monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM)

  • Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
