SUMMARY
The Website Designer is responsible for the visual design, layout, and user experience of digital brand experiences across Kids2 brands, including Baby Einstein, Ingenuity, Bright Starts, and SwaddleMe by Ingenuity. This role combines strong creative design skills with a deep understanding of modern web trends, digital storytelling, and consumer behavior.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about building engaging, mobile-first experiences that elevate brand perception and drive consumer engagement. This position works closely with marketing, DTC, social, content, and development teams to bring digital campaigns, landing pages, and brand ecosystems to life across global markets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintains expert-level knowledge of website design trends, UI/UX best practices, and responsive digital experiences.
• Designs visually compelling web pages, landing pages, campaign assets, and digital experiences aligned to brand guidelines and business objectives.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with brand, DTC, CRM, social media, and development teams to execute digital initiatives across multiple brands.
• Creates wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey flows to support seamless and engaging consumer experiences.
• Ensures all website creative is optimized for desktop, mobile, and tablet responsiveness while maintaining visual consistency across platforms.
• Supports ongoing website refreshes, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and digital storytelling initiatives.
• Designs digital assets including homepage modules, banners, promotional graphics, email visuals, and interactive brand content.
• Partners with developers to ensure accurate implementation of creative concepts and provides design QA feedback during development.
• Understands SEO, digital engagement strategies, and performance optimization principles to improve user experience and conversion.
• Organizes and maintains design files, templates, and digital assets within shared systems and DAM platforms.
• Participates in creative reviews, brainstorming sessions, and digital innovation discussions to continuously elevate brand experiences.
• Supports occasional photo/video shoots and assists in the creation of digital-first campaign assets as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years related experience and/or training in website design, digital design, or UI/UX design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating modern website design, responsive layouts, and digital brand storytelling.
• Professional level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and/or Figma.
• Experience designing for Shopify, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms preferred.
• Understanding of responsive design, UX principles, accessibility standards, and consumer-centered design thinking.
• Experience working in fast-paced creative or marketing environments with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web development workflows preferred.
