Job Overview:
We are looking to hire a skilled webMethods Integration Developer on a contract basis to support the delivery of multiple capital projects. This individual will play a key role in building, maintaining, and enhancing system integrations. The successful candidate will bring advanced knowledge of enterprise integration frameworks and tools and will work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing integration solutions using the webMethods suite of tools.
- Reliable internet access
- Strong command of components such as Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, and EDI/TN.
- Proven ability to build and manage integrations within the webMethods.IO environment (cloud/SaaS).
- Solid understanding of Java-based services and web service/API development within enterprise systems.
- Practical experience developing and testing integrations using wM Test Suite or similar tools.
- Develop and support integrations using Software AG's webMethods suite of tools.
- Design, implement, and manage web service APIs and enterprise service bus (ESB) flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to align integration solutions with business needs.
- Utilize related tools such as Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, wM Test Suite, EDI/TN, and Java Services.
- Leverage webMethods.IO for SaaS-based integration development.
- Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
Experience Preferences:
- Experience integrating with utility sector systems or infrastructure-related capital projects.
- Prior exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.
