The Web UI developer position is an intermediate level position responsible for developing and maintenance of a Web application developed in Angular using technologies including Angular, Angular Material, typescript, JavaScript, CSS and Html. The application communicates with an API layer developed in Java and Spring Boot. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize web application using Angular framework.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product manager, business analysts, backend developers and QA to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users

Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement

Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality

Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems

Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
Qualifications
-
Several years development experience with Web User Interfaces, Angular, Typescript, Javascript, Html, bootstrap and CSS

Experience with development using web api calls, common authentication mechanisms, asynchronous calls, Observables and RxJs. Ability to work with API teams and usage of tools like Postman to troubleshoot and debug api calls.

Developing Unit test scripts and automated tests using Jasmine and Karma

Experience using Git for Version Control, Code maintenance and Jenkins for builds and deployments

Strong understanding of API developement using Java and Spring Boot for Restful APIs and API Integration.

Experience with Docker and Container technology. Familiarity with Docker scripts and deployment in OpenShift environment.

Experience with SQL and SQL databases especially Oracle
-
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
